NEWS AND NOTES: Gainesville came into the came ranked 10th in State They were 24 point favorites Bridgeport managed only 7 first downs The Bulls put up only 189 yards in total offense Three turnovers and 80 yards in penalties didn't help Colin Jones had 48 yards on 17 carries Jones did catch 5 balls for 44 yards Josh Mann went 9 of 19 for 150 yards with two interceptions - one that was returned for a TD Sean Simpson caught one ball for 78 yards down to the seven yard line but the Bulls were unable to score Take away that one play, and the Bulls managed only 111 yards in offense It was the third shutout of the season for Gainesville This was Gainesville's homecoming game
